Systems Design and the near future
I'm not sure where this is from, as I discovered it via Are.na but Thanks to Matt (see comments) I now know this was created by Giorgio Orsucci and I think it's particularly useful for me in showing why I'm so interested in Systems Design (and Thinking).

I feel the future of design requires designers to think less about things and more about relationships. I'd anticipate the top right quadrant contains 'storytellers'. As complexity increases, leadership shifts from proving the destination to articulating it.... Maybe the future belongs equally to philosophers as well as designers?
Thanks Matt! I appreciate the work of Giorgio Orsucci and would absolutely agree with you that the future belongs to philosophers as well as designers!
Hah! Even before reading the comments I puzzled over this on Mastodon before deciding that empty space is for philosophers.
