Notes updated

I'm delighted to say that not only is TechFreedom now a project of FIELD STATION but that we've announced the dates for the next cohort:

TechFreedom is a three-session cohort programme that helps social purpose organisations see their technology dependencies clearly, assess hidden risks and dependencies, and build practical roadmaps towards greater sovereignty.

The programme combines systems thinking, participatory facilitation methods, and peer learning to create space for honest reflection about where power sits in your technology stack.

This is not a technical audit. It's a strategic conversation about whose interests your tools serve, who can switch you off, and what freedom of movement you actually have.

We'll be welcoming participants from up to 10 organisations on the following dates (all 2-4pm, UK time):

  • 16 September
  • 30 September
  • 14 October 2026

In an attempt to ensure this is sustainable, Tom and I are pricing this at £450. We're also running a free taster session in early September.
