I've always been interested in the idea of an 'untakedownable' blog. In 2017 I attempted to create one giving some of the reasons why in this post.
My old blog used to be available via Tor and this project, OnionPress, aims to take that a step further.

While I initially thought that it was a bit odd that a EU-based startup positioning themselves like this only allowed you to sign in via Google, thankfully you can provide a user name and password and just use that.
