Adding creativity to artworks

I follow all kind of weird and wonderful subreddits, including /r/bloomin8 which is a community for a particular brand of colour e-ink canvas. I don't (yet) own one of their products. What's great about this example is that one of their users has thoughtfully added another, smaller, monochrome e-ink displays to mimic a museum display.

E-ink screens

I really like the idea of an e-ink monitor for writing. I've got an A4 size reader that I've paired a keyboard with before to sit outside in the sunshine, but it was more of an experiment.

Ideally, I'd like a laptop that could which between a regular screen an e-ink screen at the flick of a switch.
