Watching a game simulation to understand what my AI agents are up to
This is fun. I came across a Reddit thread in which someone described using PixelLab to create an RTS-style 'game' of activity being carried out by Claude Code / OpenCode / whatever. When you run multiple sub-agents, they all scurry off to the mines, library, market, forge, etc.
I've got my wife's old iPad connected to my Mac Studio, so it's the perfect thing to have on there. It's not just frivolous either, as you can see when it needs your attention as well as the status of all of the agents. I use OpenCode, primarily with DeepSeek V4 Pro (on 'max') and the text goes by on the screen so quickly that it's a bit off-putting. This is much more chill. Also, you can have a 'Sci-Fi' mode which looks more like Star Wars.
Very cool.
