Doug's first zine final version is here, looking great with improvements from test print. 50 physical copies available, 12 remaining.

Doug is finalising edits to his zine, Field Notes on Productive Friction, before printing. He highlights that only 15 copies remain of the limited edition 50 physical copies, with no digital release planned. He also notes a potential confusion with shipping options during purchase.

Doug has sent his first zine, Field Notes on Productive Friction, to the printer for a sample copy. The zine, with only 23 out of 50 copies remaining, will not have a digital version.

The note describes Dirty Little Zine, a free browser-based tool for creating printable 8-page folded zines from a single sheet of paper. The author is working on a 40-page zine about Productive Friction and considers using this tool to produce a smaller companion "zinette." The idea evokes the whimsical extra "little tissue" given by a Big Issue seller.

The note records that the author gathered resources on Are.na for their upcoming zine Field Notes on Productive Friction, which will be 40 A5 pages (roughly 6,000 words). They plan to create a mindmap of these and other found materials to aid in planning.
