Half my life

Today, my wife Hannah and I celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary – meaning we've been married for more than half our lives ❤️

Although she hasn't retained the accent, Hannah is originally from Liverpool, so it feels appropriate to quote the ending theme song from Surprise Surprise featuring famous Scouser, the one and only Cilla Black:

It's surprising how dreams come true

And the nicest surprise in my life is you

For various reasons, we went away to celebrate last weekend and had a delightful time.

There have been ups and downs in my life and many things I wish I had done differently, but the best decision of my life by far was asking Hannah to marry me. I am a better person because she said yes.
